Lazy Day Cafe
The Story
I had an extremely poor experience with another restaurant walking home hungry. My girlfriend and I walked past a cafe. We both decided to go in to eat and try and improve the mood for the night.

The Review
The beef cheek pasta from the Lazy Day Cafe is one of the most delicious meals I have ever ate in my life. The pasta is cooked to near perfection, the sauce was savoury and yet did not overpower the taste and texture of the pasta. The beef cheek was tender, tasty and sealed the deal for this meal.
The presentation for the beef cheek pasta looks very aesthetic. The cheese surrounding the main focus; the pasta, with the contrasting blue-grey plate.
The staff was extremely friendly, understanding and you are able to ask them to make special requests. My order arrived with no issues. There is also a buzzer on the table to contact the staff for any questions.
The cost is a bit pricey coming up to $23.90 not including GST and service charge.
The Lazy Day Cafe is a very chill and comforting place. With free wifi and tasty drinks, the Lazy Day Cafe is a must visit cafe for everyone.

The Review
Bacon Carbonara is another popular classics. This one had a rich and creamy sauce but not overwhelming. The taste of the sauce last just enough until the last mouth of pasta. The pasta is cooked well and had pieces of (real) bacon sprinkled within, contributing a little to the salty aspect of the dish.
The pasta was served on a light grey, slightly uneven shaped plate with a brown rim. Innocent looking but definitely packed with carbs. Black pepper on the top added some contrast to the dish.
The service is just nice unless it is busy. It is understandable as there are only 2 staff working. The staff are very friendly and glad to make special request within their means. Buzzers are available on the side of the table to call for them when needed.
The cost for this dish is $16.90 which slightly on the higher price range and not inclusive of service charge & GST.
