The Review
The Spaghetti Bolognese from the Library Cafe at Republic Polytechnic is extremely value for money. It's aroma is excellent with a rich smelling carrot-based sauce combined with mushrooms and minced chicken. In conjunction with the well cooked pasta, it is a perfect combination of sweet and savoury that excels in showing off it's limited ingredients.
The overall appearance is simple, yet gets the message across very well. This is an excellent economic option for the average broke student that still has a craving for western food. With the simple black plate with minimal garnish on the top, this is a must try for anyone living close to Woodlands.
The staff are friendly and provide you with a buzzer to collect your food. The food is prepared very quickly.
Costing $3.80, this is the cheapest option on this site, providing a very good amount for such a low price.
The café provides modern tables and chairs as well as couch seating which it is limited. The noise is kept to a relative minimum and it is a very chill. Peak periods are usually between 11.30am and 2.30pm.
